Motorcycle injuries can harm any person who chooses to ride, including celebrities who seem to be otherwise untouched by real life. For example, George Clooney, David Hasselhoff, and even Ann-Margret have been involved in motorcycle accidents. The latest celebrity injured on the road is Leif Garrett, the actor/musician who is most recently notable for cleaning up his personal life.
According to Radar Online, the incident occurred on July 14, when another vehicle abruptly turned in front of Garrett while he was on his motorcycle. Garrett fell off his bike, and he sustained a broken pelvis, internal injuries and minor facial lacerations. The star went to the hospital and had to undergo surgery for some of his injuries.
Radar Online specifically mentions that there was no indication that Garrett had relapsed or was under the influence of drugs at the time of his accident. His motorcycle injuries seem to be the fault of mere carelessness by the driver in front of the biker. This story shows that sadly enough, the media places the assumption of fault on the motorcyclist due to past problems that are unrelated to the facts of his current motorcycle accident.
