Last year, we told you about an amazing new adventure riding workshop that happened right down the road in Granby. The ADVWoman Rally was made up of an all-female instructor staff and they welcomed women and families to join up and learn the wonders of adventure riding. Well, the women that brought us this ride are returning, but this time, they’ve added a little extra to the women’s workshop.
They’re Back! Adventure Riding Ladies Tear Up the Colorado Back Country!
For the second year running, the ADVWoman Rally is returning to Granby on July 20th through the 23rd. Once again, an all-female cast of instructor will teach those in attendance how to ride in the wilds of our state, but there’s a twist this year.
After the rally, there will be a first of its kind all-ladies ride through our back roads. They are calling it the Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route, and it is being brought to you by a joint effort from ADVWomen and Women’s Motorcycle Tours.
This tour will travel from Colorado’s northern border all the way to its southern boundary. Riders will drive the highest roads in the United States—over 12,000 feet above sea level—and they’ll see around 650 miles of beautiful mountains and forest. This trip is hotel-based with a support vehicle, but there’s still promise for a grand adventure on the Colorado back roads.
