Metier Law Firm Donates $25,000 to the New Realities for Children Campus

Metier Law Firm has donated $25,000 to Realities for Children to help the organization build its Homebase and Youth Campus facility. Realities for Children launched a brick fundraising campaign in September to reach its $900,000 goal for the new facility in Larimer County. Every dollar donated was matched by the Richardson Foundation. Participants gathered in Fort Collins on November, 10th, during the Path to Healing day to donate their customized bricks. Those who participated, including Metier Law Firm, donated customized bricks engraved with three lines, with up to 17 characters on each line.

The new four-acre facility and campus, which will be located just south of Fort Collins, will provide Realities for Children with space for events and programs. It will also provide room for cathartic and therapeutic activities for children and families.

Realities for Children has helped at-risk, abused and neglected children in Larimer County since 1996. The organization supports 31 local youth agencies to meet its goals, and hosts events that give children Christmas presents, school supplies, bicycles, and winter clothing.

Metier Law Firm has been a long-time supporter of Realities for Children, and has donated to and participated in various events over the years. These events have included Bikes for Tykes, Realities Ride & Rally, and other fundraisers. Earlier this year, Metier Law Firm was given the Guardian Angel Award by the Realities for Children president for working with the organization to help at-risk, abused and neglected children. Metier Law Firm is also a Gold Level Supporter and business member of the organization.
