Heidi Montag, former star of “The Hills,” underwent 10 cosmetic procedures in November of 2009, including brow lifts, a chin reduction and a breast augmentation revision. The surgeries were performed by Dr. Frank Ryan, who died in a car accident in August, 2010. In December, 2010, Heidi revealed the scarring form her surgery to “Life & Style Magazine.”
The 24 year-old actress reported bald patches in her hair and uneven lumps from liposuction in addition to deep grooves and marks all over her body. Montag also revealed that several parts of her body looked worse than they did pre-surgery. Montag was not seeking damages for malpractice from Dr. Ryan’s office or estate, but she did state that the scars from the surgeries have ruined her career and her life. She further indicated that Dr. Ryan was to blame for the scarring because he did not properly brief her on possible complications.
Montag expressed regret about the procedures performed in 2009 stating: “I wish I could jump into a time machine and take it all back…” Yet, she also admitted that she was addicted to plastic surgery and was planning future procedures, including a breast reduction.
