Was this Sentence Enough for a Fatal Motorcycle Crash?

Earlier in November, Westbrook received his sentence. Sarpy County District Court Judge Jeffrey Funke sentenced him to 30 days in the county jail and 24 months of probation. According to the law, Westbrook could have received up to a year in jail. He was on the clock at the time of the accident.

Accidents involving motorcycles and trucks are especially dangerous to motorcycle riders. Motorcycles leave the rider exposed to injuries in accidents, and trucks have immense weight and momentum that often proves deadly to other motorists.
