Meet Injury Attorney Emily N. Benight

Emily graduated from the University of Wyoming with her joint degree Juris Doctorate and Public Administration Masters. While student director of the Prosecution Assistance Clinic in law school Emily received the Outstanding Clinical Student Excellence Award for her work with the clinic. Prior to graduating with her joint degree, Emily made multiple court appearances and argued in front of the Wyoming Supreme Court. After her first courtroom appearance, she knew that was where she was meant to be.
Emily is a graduate of Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in July 2017 and has been on the TLC F-Warrior board since 2017 as Class Representative. Currently, she’s the F-Warrior board President-Elect. She has been part of the Wyoming State Bar CLE committee since 2017, and is currently about to start her second term with that committee.
Emily has received the Top 10 under 40 award twice in 2017 and 2018 by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys. She also received the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys 10 Best Attorney’s Exceptional and Outstanding Client Services- 2017.
Licensed to practice in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Washington and Oregon, her practice areas include motorcycle accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and insurance bad faith. Emily maintains strong and meaningful contact with her clients in order to represent them to the fullest.
When not giving a voice to injured adults and children, Emily enjoys backpacking, playing basketball, and the occasional round of golf.
