Did You Enjoy Pikes Peak Bike Week?

Did you know there’s a new event that could rival the legendary Daytona Bike Week? It features racing, motorcycles and concerts to keep you partying all week long. Plus, this new event happens in June, so you can go to both events. How cool is that?

Pikes Peak Bike Week, Worth Every Minute

As the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb closes for another year, we want to look back at all the amazing things this year’s race brought us. Weather made it hard for racers to make records this year. Despite this, KTM rider and brand ambassador Chris Fillmore was able to charge up the hill and break the course record for the heavyweight motorcycle class. It was his very first time running the Race to the Clouds!

The race was also streamed live, which marks not only the first time the race has been broadcast on the internet, but the first time that the race had been broadcast live. Difficulties with weather conditions and signal interference made this impossible in the past, but new technological solutions have changed all that.

This new broadcasting technology has allowed more people to tune in and watch the race, especially those down at the festivals in Colorado Springs. As part of the Law Tigers of Colorado, the Metier Law Firm was a sponsor for the brand-new Pikes Peak Bike Week. This first annual event featured music, bike rides and contests, but don’t just take our word for it, here are some pictures:

Law Tigers was happy to be one of the Presenting Sponsors for the inaugural 2017 Pikes Peak Bike Week held at Pikes Peak International Raceway in Fountain, CO June 21-25. The 5 day biker centric festival was highlighted by nightly musical acts such as Midland, Frankie Ballard, Gin Blossoms, Blue October, Jackyl, WAR, and Lynryd Skynyrd as well as performances by the world famous Flaunt Girls and other local acts. The event also had many local custom bike builders, as well as the opportunity to go “drifting” with a professional driver on PPIR Drift Track, motorcycle lifestyle vendors and there were also several rides for bikers coordinated throughout the area leading up to and through the dates of the event. With the inaugural year of the event now done, we look forward to next year’s event and helping to make it an amazing event for future years.
