Motorcyclist Killed And Passenger Seriously Injured In Codorus Motorcycle Accident

A recent report by The Patriot News tells of a 57 and 47-year-old man and woman who were in a motorcycle crash just five miles from home. The man lost control of his Harley Davidson while traveling northbound on Shaffers Church Road in Codorus Township. The motorcycle swerved and collided with a guardrail, according to a report by Pennsylvania State Police.

The driver of the motorcycle died upon impact and the passenger suffered serious injuries and was sent to York Hospital by helicopter for treatment. Emergency crews arrived five minutes late to the scene of the accident due to a miscommunication concerning the location of the accident. A pedestrian witness to the accident called 9-1-1 and told respondents that the accident occurred on Seven Valleys Road, six miles away.
