As a follow up to a blog we wrote last week, Colorado State Patrol has released more information regarding a motorcycle accident that occurred on March 3 to help them locate a woman who stopped to render aid. According to police reports, Andrew Fodera was traveling southbound on Interstate 25 near North Academy when the 52-year-old lost control of his motorcycle. He was ejected during the crash and came to rest in the roadway.
A vehicle traveling south on I-25 struck Fodera and ran over his legs, continuing past the accident scene without stopping. Another motorist who did stop to help Fodera was a female driving a red or maroon pickup truck with Kansas license plates. Authorities are attempting to locate this woman for questioning, but need your help. Anyone with information about the woman or who may have been in the area at the time of the accident is urged to come forward.
When accidents occur, it is important for witnesses to remain on the scene to help authorities understand what took place.
