Victor Villarreal Killed In Motorcycle Crash Nearly One Year After Wife’s Death

Victor Villarreal, 41, heavy metal musician and leader of the Sentinels Motorcycle Club was killed on Saturday, July 2, 2011 when his motorcycle was struck by a horse trailer being hauled by a pickup truck.

The accident occurred just after 10 p.m. near the intersection of Potranco Road and Sundance Crest in San Antonio, TX.

Villarreal was going to get some pizza with two other riders, less than a two-minute ride from his home, when the accident occurred. Villarreal was attempting to make a U-turn to get back to one of his riding partners, who had broken down, when his bike got tangled up with the horse trailer.

The accident occurred nearly a year after the death of his wife, Jessica, who was killed in a motorcycle accident, on her 37th birthday, on July 27, 2010.

The Villarreals met as teens and married in 1998. The couple had a 17-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter. Investigators said the crash was an accident and do not expect to file any charges. The family  is helping the kids cope with their loss and is still finalizing funeral arrangements.
